See Great Art on the Power of Collaboration

See Great Art published an in-depth feature on Shantell Martin's collaborative practice, with significant coverage of our partnership and the Lapidarist NFT collection. The article explored how collaboration has been central to Shantell's work since her early days performing live visuals in Japanese avant-garde spaces — which is also where we first met in 2007.

The piece credited me for the 3D design and animation on Lapidarist, and positioned our working relationship as an example of how long-term creative partnerships produce work that neither artist could achieve independently. The three works — Absence, Presence, and Transience — were presented as objects that hover between imagination and reality, with my generative 3D structures providing the architectural foundation for Shantell's animated drawings.
