The ‘Letragrafika’ works have been created by hand appling vintage Letraset from the 1980s to create linear composition studies.

Starting out as a meditative exercise, the project saw Sheppee become focused on aligning the edge of letters with the boundaries of the paper and taking elements of the alphanumerical writing systems and using them to build a new graphic language. The result is a series of abstract formulations that cross the boundaries between graphic design and fine art.
